Here's a little known trick that lets you to print files right
from Windows Explorer without having to open its associated
program first.
Simply right-click on the file in Windows Explorer and select
Print from the popup menu. If you need to print multiple files,
just hold down the CTRL key while selecting the files you want to
print. Then right-click and Print.
The way this works is Windows opens the application associated
with each file, prints the file(s), and then immediately closes
the application.
