Dear Mr Hayes, I didn't think there was a solution to this very aggravating Excel behaviour,
but thank you so much for this one!

HI Francis, I've been a subscriber since 2013 and this
may be the first time I wrote you. I wish I had seen this tip years ago. I'm sure many
others will also find this a very useful tool when added
to their toolbox. Thanks so much for continuing to share
your valuable tips, as well as even a small part of your
life "up north" ! You add some humanity to the
oversimplified preconception of "geek" that so many have
!

Francis, Thank you for such a fast, complete, and
considerate response. I’m not sure what I was expecting
when I wrote to you, but you exceeded whatever my
expectations could have been. Even more reason for
recommending The Excel Addict!!!

I have enjoyed your Excel tips for many years now.
I am retiring and this is my last day at work, and they
will discontinue my email account. I'm not sure just how
many of the tips I have used, but it has made my job
easier and I am more efficient. I have also enjoyed all
the personal talks about your family and where you
reside. I will add my home email soon. I have let
my replacement know your site is a must!

Hi Francis, I have been following you for quite a while
now and I really am impressed with your quick and easy
tips, thank you so much for all your efforts. This latest one... it's like the 'Wow,
I could have had a V8' commercial. So simple but I never
thought of using the CTRL A and seeing the display. |

Thanks Francis. That was one of my bugbears -
especially when the tooltip obscures the cell that I
want to click on to include in my formula. A great
example of Excel Addict gold: something that's really
easy ... if only you'd ever thought to do it. |

Francis, Simple though it may be, even I learned
something new here. Being a math nerd, I knew all about
how time is recorded in Excel, but the Time function
(TIME(0,15,0)) was a new one for me. It's very rare for
me not to learn anything at all from one of your posts. |

Hi Francis, I just signed up for Mynda’s course! Thank you for
referring this course, it looks great and I am very
excited to take it. I also wanted to mention how much I
enjoy your newsletter each week. I have referred you on

much as I do. Thanks,. |
